the problem is that you're trying to create an account with an email used by a gw2 account, just use the same password from your gw2 account. The same thing happened to me. If you still have this issue it might be because your password is too long. I remember back in the day that this was an issue. As a reminder, to be matchmade with your WvW guild of choice, you were required to select a guild from the World Restructuring menu prior to 11:59PM Pacific (UTC-8) on December 2. Any selections made after this point were not factored into matchmaking. The third issue is that players will receive a vague “access denied” message when The only way you are going to get support to change it or reset a password is with lots of personal information, meaning maybe someone you know, or they would need to know your game key. I had to do this once for one of my secondary new accounts that at random had two factor turned on, they ask for name, billing address, game key code etc etc Because of that I couldn't reset my password. I just got one of my friends to go online and check what the new character was called. I guess that doesn't really help since you're character hasn't been online in ages. Whether I have the "Remember Password" checkbox checked or not, I still have to type in my password every single time I want to log in. I also have the "Remember Account Name" checkbox checked and the launcher has no problem remembering it, but not the password. It hasn't remembered my password for the entire two and a half years I've played GW2. .
